Here's a few gifts I made for my family's "Handmade Christmas".

Desktop phone holder made with a router.

Veggie/garden box.

Rain gauge post with routered rain drops.

Some signs made with a Router.

Spin the pointer for an easy excuse out of work.

What sort of router are you using for these?

Hi @MitchellMc . Been a while.
   I used an Ozito 350w Trimmer Router. Probably not exactly the best tool for the job. It managed the sign writing type jobs ok as I didn't cut the lettering too deep. But it struggled with the bigger deeper cuts for the slots on the Phone holders. I got around the problem be making several cuts getting deeper each time.

Nice work on the lost art of making  gifts for xmas

   We give  people friends and famly xmas decorations Balls and stuff the qood ones and paint or sign merry xmas and our name and the year. 

  And this year I looked at our same plastic xmas tree and saw our earliest  painted  bauble  and it brought back  memories.

One  year I made a weather forcaster I large  gum nut hanging from a string on a base

If dry  = sunny

if wet = raining

if moving = windy

If missing =  Cyclone lol

I liked it at the time  probably ended up as  firewood which is ok too.

By the way nice craftmanship  may you  keep enjoying your work and giving,   As you can tell it   brought a couple memories back for me too thanks,

Hi @Jewelleryrescue  thanks for the comment. My job has been keeping me busy  so I haven't spent much time in the workshop lately. It felt good to get back on the tools again and may have inspired me to make time for some woodworking again.
