How do you put underground drainage in to stop water coming into the house?

We have cleared the ground ready to build, putting in a trench around to take perforated pipe work but not sure what to lay the pipe on.The trench will be backfilled  with earth and the a concrete floor will be laid over it !

I assume most members will need a lot more detail about your project in order to provide helpful and specific advice. It also sounds like it would be prudent to have a plumbing professional on site. 

In order for the community to provide some advice, do you have images of your plans that you could share so members could better visualise what you are building and see details about the site?

Putting in drainage is a good idea but covering it with concrete flooring might cause issues. Drainage is often placed outside of the flooring area conservatively about a meter away. It's meant to act as a buffer for incoming water so that the soil underneath the floor is not compromised. Placing it directly under flooring will soften the soil and the support for the flooring will weaken causing it to crack.

Can you please tell us what the flooring is for, is it for a shed or a house? Would it be possible for you post a a photo of the area where you plan on building the floor? This will give our members a chance to assess the location. We can then make recommendations on how to proceed.
