Hi.

I need a rental friendly way too keep things from entering underneath a storeroom located outside which has no protection from rain, pets  etc.

Re: Draft stopper

Hi @joejoe

Consider using a  plastic stripe with a foam bead along on the outside it so when door closes the foam seals to the door.

or there are a bunch of commercial weather door strips at bunnings on  offer EG

Re: How to seal door from underneath?

Hi @joejoe,

Typically, landlords will be quite open to having their property improved by a tenant at the tenant's expense. You might like to explain that you see water and insects entering under the door and request they allow you to install a simple self-adhesive door seal.

If you were to clean the concrete well, then a foam weather strip could potentially be adhered to it. However, I'm not sure of what the longevity would be like as, typically, the adhesive doesn't adhere well to concrete.

Please let us know if you have any questions.

Mitchell
