How to fix render on bottom exterior edge?

How would you go about fixing the render around the bottom edge of house exterior? 

I have attached a photo.

You'd likely need to start by filling the larger undercut voids and establishing a flat surface with mortar. You can then install some render bead and render over the area. Here's a helpful step-by-step guide: How to render. Alternatively, an easier option might be to use some attractive timber like 140mm Merbau decking and screw it to the face of the wall to cover this area.
