How to stop outdoor blinds from flapping?

Hi Fellow members and experts,

Need some advise on how to stop outdoor blinds from flapping?

Recently installed Bunnings crank operated roller blinds

https://www.bunnings.com.au/coolaroo-1-8-x-2-4m-graphite-shade-cloth-crank-operated-roller-blind_p03...

As seen in the picture attached, We don't have any pillar in between the two blinds to mount the Bungee.

Don't wish to drill the Alfresco floor tiles and the area is quite windy.

Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.

Thanks

Re: How to stop Outdoor Blinds from flapping?

Hello @Aaina

One quick way to stop your blinds form flapping is to hook the edge of your blinds bottom post using a Zenith 140mm Black Stretch Loop and looping it onto an OZtrail Sand Bag Gazebo Weights Kit - 4 Pack or similar. The purpose of the weight is to hold the blinds down, but it also allows you to move it side when you don't need it. This also saves you from having to drill into your floor and possibly damaging your tiles.

If you need further assistance, please let us know.

Re: How to stop Outdoor Blinds from flapping?

Outdoor blinds are great for enclosing (somewhat) verandahs and patios for privacy and thermal management (especially regarding adjacent windows), the solution we employed was a guide rope across the base of the blinds to hold them taught, a tensioned guy wire (as used for washing lines and TV antenna masts) would work equally well and would also negate the need for drilling into the tiles.

This solution will not work if you need to gain access through the blinds to other areas of your yard.
