Festoon lights no longer work after two strung together

Hi I wonder I’ve anyone else has had any issues with the solar festoon lighting from Bunnings? Ours worked for a month and now no longer work. We strung two sets together and now neither set work. Please help? 
I’ve tried replacing the batteries but still don’t work

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's wonderful to have you join us, and thank you for sharing your question about your festoon lights.

Have you tried to disconnect the two sets and see if they would work independently? I only ask to see if we can perhaps find what the cause of the failure was. If after several tries and there is no change, I suggest taking the set to the closest store in your area and explaining to the customer service team member what has happened. 

The festoon lights usually have a one-year warranty. Please make sure to bring your docket so that the team member can track your purchase.
