Re: How to repair the painted table?

Hi @Farhana,

Can you please take a couple of wider shots of your table? It's hard from your close-up shot to see what the table is made of. If you know the manufacturer and the model of the table, that would be great too. Once our members have a clearer picture of what you are working with they will be in a better position to suggest next steps.

Many thanks,

Jason

Re: How to repair the painted table?

Hello @Farhana

Was something spilled onto the surface of the table like acetone or nail polish remover? Looking at your photo, I can clearly see the circular outline of something that dripped onto the surface of the table. This particular reaction of paint wrinkling in on itself is often caused by paint strippers. I suspect that if you were to scratch the surface of this wrinkled surface it would crack and peel off.

If that is the case, the damaged portion will need to be lightly sanded and painted over. However, it would be best to see a photo of the entire table to give us a better idea of what were dealing with.

If you have any other questions we can help with, please let us know.

Eric
