How to stop my Ryobi sprayer leaking from trigger?

Hi Team,

I recently purchased a Ryobi Sprayer 7.5L and used it for the first time today.

I noticed there was some leakage around trigger as shown in the picture  I have uploaded (couldn't upload a video for some reason)

I have checked instructions, checked the rubber seal that sits between the joints and have also tried to tighten the connection as much as I could.

Is this product faulty? I will be returning the product and requesting an exchange but before I do that I just want to ask for some guidance here.

Thanks and appreciate the help.

Cheers

Re: Ryobi Sprayer- Leaking From Trigger (Recently Purchased and looking to exchange)

Hi @Garden_Rookie,

It looks to be faulty to me. I think you've done all you can by checking the seals and joints. I'd suggest returning it and grabbing another unit.

I apologise for the inconvenience.

Mitchell

See something interesting? Give it the thumbs up!

Thanks Mitchell.

I exchanged today and will check the new unit when I get a chance to open it.

Cheers
