Can I repot my soursop trees in autumn?

I have a soursop tree still in a pot, I want to move it to a larger pot, not sure if it's in the right season to re-pot or should I wait for 6 months until Spring?

Re: Can I repot my soursop trees in the next few days?

Hi @charlie01,

Fruit trees can withstand planting throughout the year, but the best time of year to transplant is when they're dormant over the cooler months or in early spring before they actively start to grow. It's best to avoid transplanting when they have already started developing buds or during the peak growing season.

If you are just slip-potting and not disturbing the roots too much, then you could transplant now. However, if you are still experiencing warmer weather, it might be worth holding off for a while.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Mitchell
