What to do about holes in architrave?

I bought some new architrave and door jambs to replace the old bathroom door frame. I cut the new piece's to fit and decided to paint them first. I notice the timber was a bit furry and realise that they need to be sanded before painting but I notice some holes in the timber which I wounder if this needs to be treated or just filled?

Re: What to do about holes in architrave?

Hello @Kvic

Thanks for sharing your architrave and door jamb project. I suggest using 240-grit sandpaper to refinish the surface of the timber. If the holes serve no purpose, I suggest filling them in and painting over them.

Please keep us updated with your progress, we look forward to seeing your door jamb repaired and ready for use.

Eric
