Re: How to fix a leaking tap on concrete water tank?

Hello @max77

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's wonderful to have you join us, and thank you for sharing your question about repairing a leak in your concrete tank.

If the leak is near the tank close to the shut off valve, I suggest locating it first and cleaning the area with a bristle brush. Wash the area very well making sure that the moss, mould and debris are removed.  If you need space to do the repairs, I propose digging some of the soil out so that you have space. I recommend using Gripset Betta 1kg Water Plug. This product is specifically designed to repair damaged concrete water tanks.

However, if the leak is by the hose area, I suggest removing the hose and refreshing the connection and using a Toledo 14-27mm Perforated Clamp Hose Fit to secure the hose properly.

If you have any other questions we can help with, please let us know.

Eric
