How to mount a hutch on a brick wall?

hi Bunnings community

I would like to mount this hutch in my laundry. It will be mounted on bricks and I'm not sure which masonry anchors like this.

Do you think these types of anchors will be enough? Stronger?

Any recommendations would be welcomed.

Thanks Flo

Re: mounting a hutch

Hi @flolemens

Thanks for sharing your question about mounting a hutch. You've referred to the Ramset 6 x 50mm Zinc AnkaScrew Masonry Anchor as your choice of anchor for the brick wall. Please keep in mind that if this is a brick wall with hollow holes in it the AnkaScrew will not bind properly, and it will just keep spinning. However, if it is a solid brick the screw will work perfectly.

Should the AnkaScrew fail, I suggest using Ramset 8 x 50mm Universal Anchor - 20 Pack. It is suitable to anchor into stone, concrete, solid brick, hollow wall and hollow brick. It has strong holding power, up to 32kg into solid substrate and up to 11kg into hollow wall. Please make sure to put a minimum of four anchors at the top and four at the bottom.

If you need further assistance, please let us know.

Eric
