Yeah my vines took about 3yrs to mature and get to that stage, once dormant will create better trellis for it to make it looks undercover

It's possible @Nanawren Not the best idea though! Tomatoes need space to grow. Invest in a big pot or better still, a raised garden bed of some sort ...
