Hampton's Planter stand

I really enjoyed making this custom planter stand for a lovely lady in Balmain, now my wife wants one!IMG_4305.JPG

Re: Hampton's Planter stand

Looks great @Beachbox. What kind of timber did you use? And do you have any tips for community members who'd like to make their own?

Re: Hampton's Planter stand

Hi Jason,

It is made from 100% recycled Oregon timber. 4 x 2 studs from a house demolition. The timber was ripped in half to make the legs and the frame, so it is approximately 45mm x 45mm. The shelves are also ripped horizontally to achieve around 22mm x 90mm slats.

@Beachbox

Is this for indoor or outdoor use?

Hi greygardener,
This unit is intended to be outdoor under cover,on a veranda or on a deck that is sheltered from the weather.
Thanks
