A new season of herbs

With beautifully warm weather in Melbourne the past couple of days, it was decided that our previously neglected herb/vegie garden was due for a makeover. Firstly, the hosing had become brittle and weathered in the summer months so new hose was replaced in the damaged areas. Dried out plants and weeds were quickly removed. A few bags of potting mix were added to the existing soil as a bit of a refresh and thoroughly mixed through. Next herb seeds were added - the popular rosemary, thyme, oregano, basil and parsely were selected - and some charlie carp fertiliser applied to assist with initial growth. Lastly plastic herb tags were added and the timer was set. Now let's watch them grow!

Would love to hear about what herbs and vegies others have recently planted!
