Anyone seen one of these bionic wrenches in Australia? Any good?

Re: Anyone seen this tool before?

I think it is a step up from the pin filled sockets. There is also Stanley, Black and Decker and Craftright variations on the theme. They are ok as medium duty if access is not tight.

Pliers, multigrips and Vicegrips will also work with nylock nuts, just don't let a fitter and turner or engineer see you doing it they will have a fit.

Re: Anyone seen this tool before?

Hi @Joker

I did see this somewhere on the idiot box not long ago and immediately thought it may be a good tool to carry in the car, boat or caravan for emergency or lightweight use only.  I wouldn't/couldn't use it for work purposes as I need to torque everything up to code.

Cheers

Daryl
