Hey @woodalwaysworks this looks great. I have been thinking about making one of these for a while now but never have any time to get to it. How does it go with the weight of the sand in it? Have you reinforced the base at all?
Inside the base has two dividers for keeping toys and spades etc seperate. I have also used those those to strengthen the base, screwing tgrough from underneath. The slats that hold the table top together also fit into tjis gap which holds in place when fitted, stops sliding back and forth.
First few days of making it the weather was grim here so i put a piece of artificial turf inside and it became a dinosaur garden and climbing frame.
